Kaare Berntsen holds some four or five major exhibitions of fine art and antiques for sale during the course of a year, including our spring and autumn exhibitions. Art and antiques are presented alongside one another in our atmospheric premises, with the exhibits based on various themes linking each object to a story or statement. A range of activities relating to the theme of the exhibition are also organised underway.
All our exhibitions and events are announced under News on our website. If you are interested in viewing any of the objects mentioned there prior to the exhibition, we recommend that you visit our website regularly.
Dealing and brokerage
In addition to our sale exhibitions, our main activity is dealing in and brokerage of high-quality fine art and antiques.
Some objects demand a different type of buying or selling process than those that take place in public salerooms. In that case, we work closely with the client to assess individually various approaches to the buying or selling process. Read more about this under Why Kaare Berntsen.
Sale documents
Every object put up for sale is presented with a set of thoroughly prepared sale documents and additional information, so that the buyer can be secure with respect to the transaction. We examine everything we sell with a view to verifying its history, provenance, artist/maker, condition, market status and other relevant factors. If necessary, we consult external experts.
If you have any questions concerning our exhibitions of works for sale and/or require personal advice and further contact with any of our experts, please call or e-mail us for a free, no-obligation appointment.
You are most welcome to visit us at our premises at Munkedamsveien 62A in Oslo.
